Schematic diagram
This illustration shows how the U-profile is securely positioned in the cable drum, ensuring a controlled, axial cable pull-off.

Permissible. Safe. Field-proven.
The use of the POWERTWISTER®️ complies with applicable regulations and is designed for unwinding over the drum core.
Due to the axial load and the form-fitting mounting, the cable drum is guided in a controlled manner, without damaging torsion or impermissible stress.
This creates a safe, field-proven solution for use with forklifts and other lifting equipment.

FAQs
About POWERTWISTER®
Are cable drums only to be unwound horizontally?
The decisive factor is not the position of the cable drum, but the intended use position and the correct cable pull-off.
With the POWERTWISTER®, horizontal and suspended unreeling is technically provided for and permissible.
Is it permitted to lift the cable drum using the centering bore?
Yes, provided this is technically intended. Lifting via the core opening is permissible if the load is controlled and absorbed axially. The POWERTWISTER® is designed precisely for this application and ensures a safe, material-friendly load.
What's innovative about the POWERTWISTER®?
The innovation lies in the system change. Where cable jacks, great effort and several people were previously required, the POWERTWISTER® now enables simple, safe and ergonomic unreeling with just one person, quickly, in a space-saving and controlled manner.
Is the POWERTWISTER® more than just a U-profile on a chain?
The POWERTWISTER® is a sophisticated system developed in Germany, by practitioners for practitioners – not just a simple metal part. The combination of T-profile, bearing, and suspension allows for controlled, safe, and ergonomic unwinding, meets the requirements of safety officers, and is designed for standard-compliant use, including UVV inspection.
How long is the POWERTWISTER® chain?
The POWERTWISTER® is simply inserted into the central bore and aligns itself form-fittingly there; the function results from the system, not from the chain length.
What distinguishes POWERTWISTER® from conventional payout methods?
The difference lies in the system. While conventional methods rely on cable jacks, physical effort, time, and multiple people, the POWERTWISTER® enables easy, space-saving, ergonomic, and safe unwinding with a clearly defined process and significantly lower risk.
For which types of drums is the POWERTWISTER® suitable?
The POWERTWISTER® is suitable for drums with:
- Cables
- Pipes
- Ropes
- Chains
- Hoses
- Wires
It is designed for typical drummed goods in an industrial environment.
Is the POWERTWISTER® approved for commercial use?
Yes. The POWERTWISTER® is classified as a lifting accessory and complies with applicable safety requirements. An accident prevention inspection is included.
Why does the drum unroll so easily?
The POWERTWISTER® features an integrated ball bearing on the swivel hook. This allows for very smooth and controlled unrolling.
Is there a declaration of conformity?
Yes. The declaration of conformity is included in the operating instructions. Among other things, the POWERTWISTER® complies with relevant European safety directives.
Is a UVV inspection included?
Yes. A UVV inspection is included in the scope of delivery.
When does the POWERTWISTER® pay for itself?
Through time savings, reduced personnel costs, and avoided damage, the POWERTWISTER® can pay for itself in many companies within a short period.
